    Six years ago, filmmaker Mohit Suri won the audiences over with his hit action thriller Ek Villain, which not only had a killer story-line but also boasted of terrific performances by Sidharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh. Well the director recently announced the sequel, which has tentatively been titled Do Villain. While it was earlier reported that Aditya Roy Kapur will reunite with his Malang director, the actor later walked out of the project due to creative differences. The film will now feature John Abraham, Disha Patani, Tara Sutaria and Arjun Kapoor.

    Well in a recent chat with Mumbai Mirror, Suri opened up about John’s character. While we have been blown away with his performance in many intense action entertainers, this time we will see him in an intense romance space, similar to his debut film Jism. Talking about his flawed character with shades of grey, Mohit shared, “The difference between a hero and a villain is that you rarely learn about the latter's love story. this time you will, so, he's more of an anti-hero than a villain per se.” While John will be seen romancing Disha, Arjun has been paired with Tara who plays the role of a singer.

    Interestingly, John has also been assisting the team in designing the action sequences, which will reportedly consist of hand to hand combats and car chases. Mohit shared, “We want to take the action a notch higher and John has been designing and choreographing these scenes with me and my team of assistants.” Makers are hoping to begin shooting for Do Villain in January next year.
