She is Swedish, she is a dancer, she is trained in martial arts and before we forget, she’s dating cricketer Hardik Pandya. But before the trend sets, let's go through some lesser known stuff about this Swedish beauty, who survived 70 days in Bigg Boss , a Hindi reality show!

1. For starters, her name is not Elli AvRam.

It's Elisabet Avramidou Granlund. And in case you think, she’s the only Bollywood actor who’s changed her name, check out the list here.

2. Elli AvRam (let's just call her that) didn’t become a Bollywood actress by accident.

Here’s a factoid. At age 18, Avram became the member of Pardesi Dance Group in Sundbyberg. This group performed on Bollywood songs all over Scandinavia.

3. If you believe looks don’t matter, think again. She got her first lead role in Saurabh Varma's Mickey Virus. Small detail being, she spoke no Hindi at that point.

4. Her first movie appearance, however, was not Mickey Virus.

It was the Swedish feature Förbjuden Frukt, where she played the role of Selen - the lead character's teen girlfriend. 

5. And now that we’ve established knowing a language is no criterion, it's easier to believe that she’s done two south movies.

Both being the remake of Queen in Tamil and Telegu. And her third appearance is expected soon in a performance in Allu Arjun ’s Naa Peru Surya. Her Telegu debut.
