Emraan Hashmi Believes People Think Him To Be A Home Breaker And John Abraham To Be A Patriot

Emraan Hashmi has come as far as possible from his ‘serial kisser’ image by virtue of choices that he is making in content these days. The actor has been a part of projects like Tigers, Netflix series Bard Of Blood and will be soon be seen in a suspense thriller The Body with Rishi Kapoor, Shobhita Dhulipala and Vedhika.

In the film, he plays a cheating husband who hatches a conspiracy to kill his wife, a role akin to many he has played in the heydays of his career.  Talking about the same, he said, “I have made a career out of these kinds of sinful things. I do all the wrong things. I should actually go on the other side where you've been on and do something squeaky clean and don't do anything wrong. I am looking for a script but they don't come with these kinds of scripts to me.”

The interviewer then reminded him that John Abraham had recently said that instead of him choosing patriotic scripts on his accord, it is more like people come to him with these kinds of scripts and asked Emraan if that’s the case with him. Emraan, in his quick-witted manner, answered, “I have made a career out of (doing) these kinds of sinful things (on-screen). I do all the wrong things. I should actually go on the other side where you've been on and do something squeaky clean and don't do anything wrong. I am looking for a script but they don't come with these kinds of scripts to me.” He even went ahead and teased Vedhika that even she must have thought him to be a little ‘loose character’ an accusation Vedhika vehemently denied.

Well, all we can say is we only think of him as an actor par excellence who has the talent of re-inventing himself with time.
