Emraan Hashmi Thinks People Are Settling Old Scores In The Name Of Sushant Singh Rajput’s Death: It Is Extremely Toxic

The Sushant Singh Rajput case has been all over the media for the last one and a half months now. Many Bollywood actors too have spoken about nepotism and how things have been difficult for them in the film industry. There has been a flurry of speculations pertaining to the reason behind the drastic step taken by the late actor. Actor Emraan Hashmi who will soon be seen in the role of a cop in Mumbai Saga opposite John Abraham too has opened up on the case.

In an interview with the New Indian Express he stated the Sushant Singh Rajput case has become more of a social media circus now. He has been quoted by the publication as saying, "Your heart goes out to his (Sushant) family at this point in time. And you need to allow them to heal through this. It's become a bit of a circus on social media, and it is something I stay away from. There are a lot of people who have asked me to comment on nepotism and stuff and I say 'I have already put that out'. It's been fuelled and people have their ego at play, they are kind of bashing each other and they probably have things from the past and they are settling those scores. It seems like that and it is extremely toxic. I hope it ends soon."
