English Vinglish Actor Adil Hussain Bags A Pivotal Role In American Series Star Trek: Discovery

Several Bollywood actors have been doing a phenomenal job in world cinema including some prominent shows and movies in the U.S. and U.K. Sure we have only ever been focusing on big names like Priyanka Chopra, Aishwarya Rai, Deepika Padukone or Anupam Kher, but in reality the there are others who transitioned way before it became a trend and have been successful too.

English Vinglish actor Adil Hussain has now found a place in the cast of Star Trek: Discovery season 3. The American series will see the actor play a pivotal role in the series the trailer of which premiered at New York Comic Con on 5 October.

Star Trek Discovery will pick up from where the second season Star Trek: Enterprise ended. The third season of the American Web series by Bryan Fuller and Alex Kurtzman will premiere in 2020.

Adil has previously been a part of several English films the most prominent name being Life Of Pi. Besides Hollywood and Bollywood Adil has a rather versatile filmography. He has featured in several Assamese, Bengali, Tamil and Marathi projects as well.

Sonequa Martin-Green stars as Michael Burnham, a female science specialist on the Discovery. Doug Jones, Shazad Latif, Anthony Rapp, Mary Wiseman, and Wilson Cruz.
