Ex Bigg Boss Contestant Jasleen Matharu Makes Her Acting Debut, All Set To Play A Mermaid On TV

The last season of Bigg Boss gave us a lot of interesting contestants. However, if there is one contestant who generated more headlines than most people on the show it was Jasleen Matharu. Jasleen became a raging topic in the country for coming to the show with veteran bhajan singer Anoop Jalota as his ‘partner’. The fact that they were 37 years apart was a shocker for everyone. However, she gave everyone another shocker when she admitted that she was not really dating the singer and it was all for the show.

All of this led to Jasleen’s massive popularity among lovers of Indian television and the 29-year-old is now all set to make her acting debut on TV. Jasleen would be seen in the supernatural show Vish and guess what, she would be playing the role of a mermaid. First glimpse of Jasleen as Jalakshini, the mermaid was seen in the 26^th August episode. Jasleen took to Instagram to share the exciting news with her fans.

The serial Vish stars Debina Bonerjee, Vishal Vashishth and Sana Maqbool Khan in lead roles and tells the story of Vishal and Vishalia, two crossbreeds of snake and humans who struggle to live on the planet as mortals.
