EXCLUSIVE: Ishq Subhan Allah’s Lead Eisha Singh Bags An Anubhav Sinha Film, To Quit Show – Details Inside

Zee TV’s popular show Ishq Subhan Allah that has actress Eisha Singh and actor Adnan Khan in the lead is about to get a huge jolt.

Well, according to a close source from the sets of the show produced by Zuby Kochchar and Dheeraj Kumar, the lead actress of the show Eisha Singh is about to call it quits. The source revealed, “Eisha has bagged a big film that is apparently being directed by Anubhav Sinha and it also has Ayushmann Khurrana playing a prominent character and she is not ready to continue with the TV show anymore!”

The source further contended, “looks like the TV actress was just doing television to take care of her expenses and the moment she got a film, she is no mood to continue with the show.”

Now, with the lead actress absolutely hell-bent on quitting, the onus is on the producers of the show to get her replaced as soon as possible. And this cannot happen without introducing Zara’s (Eisha) death track. The source further said, “Eisha’s character will die and then will again resurface.”

But before all of this, “there was a lot of hullaballoo that had transpired between the channel and the production house over this issue. Zee TV too was hell-bent on having Eisha play the lead because according to them she was under contract! The production house 'Creative Eye' had a meeting with Eisha in a bid to persuade her to be part of the show. But she was resolute about quitting.”

Shedding light on the desperate measures taken by the production house to move the dates of the film shoot, the source went on, “the makers of the show had even contacted director Anubhav Sinha so that the dates could be managed but Anubhav too was adamant about the dates and refused to move his dates for the shoot.”

We further got to know that auditions for the lead role are going on in full swing. Some of the actors who have already auditioned for the role are Arshi Singh who famously played the character of Naina Agarwal in the show Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai, TV actress Shivani Tomar who was last seen as Kanchan in &TV’s Mitegi Laxman Rekha and Marathi TV actress Siddhi Karkhanis.

The source also informed, “Eisha has given her time till the 20^th of September and now all her portions have to be shot before the said date, anyhow.” We tried to get in touch with EIsha, but she remained unavailable till the time of filing the story.

What’s more –

“There was also an issue between the production house and the channel due to which the show which was all along was being produced by Creative Eye will now be produced by Esselvision.” Related the source. “There were some differences about the creative liberties taken by the production house while shooting a particular episode of the show, which is why the show was taken away from them”, said the source.

However, what is interesting to know is, despite the TV show going out of the hands of Creative Eye, the web series on Zee5 titled Ishq AajKal which happens to be a spin-off of Ishq Subhan Allah is still under the control of the production house!
