EXCLUSIVE: My Juniors Are Pretty Excited To Have Me In Their College, Says Priya Prakash Varrier

Priya Prakash Varrier who is all set to make her debut in Bollywood with Sridevi Bungalow is all pepped up about her debut. We didn’t quite understand whether it is because of her age or just the way she is that she almost came out as someone who is oblivious to the huge mountain that stands in front of her in the form of her journey up ahead. It promises to be uphill but Priya is nonchalant!

Well, Desimartini got in touch with Priya to get to know a little more about her personal side. The actress spoke at length about her education, school and school friends so on and so forth.

Varrier is basking in the popularity that she received ‘overnight’ (as she calls it) from that wink episode. Even though the film from where that clip had been taken was not received well with the critics, the college student come actress is unfazed by it and is looking forward to her first Bollywood venture. Quipped she, “If my film is destined to be a failure, I can’t help it. Let’s see what happens.”

The young girl, who is still in college and is pursuing her graduation reveals that neither her teachers nor her peers are in awe of her but the juniors get very excited to have her in their college. She revealed, “My juniors always look up to me with a lot of fascination. I have people visiting my classroom almost on a daily basis enquiring about my whereabouts. My juniors sure are very excited to be there, but when it comes to my classmates, they don’t have any such reactions at all. They are quite normal; the way friends are. They never make any big deal out of it.”

Well, with such a famous senior in the college which junior will not be fascinated is what we question. Isn’t it normal to behave like that? Well, the juniors of Priya’s college are really lucky, we would say.
