EXCLUSIVE: Zain Imam On Being Hospitalised For Dengue: 'High Time Cleanliness Should Be Focused On The Sets'

TV actor Zain Imam who has been essaying the character of Kabir in the Shat Plus show Sarvgunn Sampanna recently announced that he has been admitted in the hospital!

Yes, it will really be saddening for the fans of the actor to know that the latter is down with dengue and is admitted in the hospital. In his announcement, he made it pretty clear that it was during the shoot of the last episode that he started feeling sick.

When we got in touch with Zain, he said, “(Set Ke Macchar) Mosquitoes on the set, bit me during the last half an hour on last day of the shoot and immediately after that, I started feeling uneasy. On the same night, I had a high fever and I had to be immediately admitted into the hospital. I hope I will be discharged from the hospital in a few days. The doctors have advised me to rest because my body has weakened a lot.”

The actor wanted some respite from his hectic shooting schedule for a long time. He wanted to take some days off and come back to Delhi and with the end of Sarvgunn Sampanna things were looking good but because of dengue all his plans have gone down the drain but he is happy for his family members have now flown down to Mumbai. Quipped he, I am happy that my mom, dad and my friends are here.”

The actor is still admitted in the hospital and speaking about his current condition he says, “Nothing much, I am just bruised with injections.”

Speaking about the conditions on the shooting sets, the actor stressed that “it is high time cleanliness should be more focused on, on the sets.”

TV actor Zain Imam is the son of TV actress Gulfaam Khan. He started off his career as a model and graduated into acting on television. His mother is quite a celebrated TV actress herself. She has appeared in multiple TV shows like NaamKaran, Diya Aur Baati Hum and Laado 2!
