Exclusive- Parineeti Chopra Calls Arjun A Sandeep In Real Life; Says ‘He Should Try And Be A Little More Pinky’

Actress Parineeti Chopra won our hearts yet again with her back-to-back spectacular performances in The Girl on the Train and Saina. However, it was with her character in Dibakar Banerjee’s Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar that she left us in awe! While some fans are calling her ‘Parineeti 2.0’, others are glad that filmmakers are now seeing her full potential. She beautifully lived the character of Sandeep aka Sandy on-screen in the black comedy, whereas her co-actor Arjun Kapoor portrayed the role of Haryanvi cop Satinder "Pinky" Dahiya to perfection. They blew us away once again, just like they did years ago with Ishaqzaade.

Well, in an exclusive interview with Desimartini, we told the actress that Arjun had called her ‘too much of a Pinky in real life’ in an earlier chat with us. We then asked her what she likes and dislikes most about her co-actor, to which she replied, “What I find annoying about him is sometimes he’s a little impatient with me and fails to understand me as a person. So as a friend then I’m very frustrated that okay I wish you would understand me better. What I love about him is his upbringing; he comes from a very good upbringing. His mom brought both Anshula and him up very well and they are very good kids.”

She further stated, “He’s very respectful towards women especially. I remember my first film with him there was a lovemaking scene that I had to shoot with him and he was very respectful and very caring, and that spoke a lot about him as a person so I love that about him.” Parineeti went on to add, “In real life actually he can be a Sandeep a lot. He should try and be a little more Pinky! On-screen he played Pinky very well but he should try and be a little more Pinky in real life, he is a lot like Sandeep.”

Well, we cannot wait to see the dynamic duo together again on the big screen!
