Exclusive: Ssudeep Sahir’s Big Ganpati Celebration Won’t Happen This Time, ‘It Is Unfortunate’

The entire country is celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi today. In Mumbai, the extravaganza during pre-COVID-19 carried on for 10 days. For all of those days, people used to throng the streets of the financial capital to catch a glimpse of their favorite Bappa's murti at their nearest pandal.  

However, now we are in the COVID-19 situation and things are not what they used to be. In fact, the circumstances have changed and how. None of the big Ganpati pandals have welcomed Bappa this year and many have turned their pandals into blood donation camps instead.
