EXCLUSIVE: Tahira Kashyap Felt Ayushmann Khurrana Could Never Become A Hero Because He Was Not Good Looking

Ayushmannn Khurrana is a wonderful actor and he has proved his mettle time and again. However, there has been a transition in him in every way. Right from the way he used to look to the kind of films he does and the kind of look he dons! Well, it wouldn’t be an exaggeration to state that, it almost happens with everyone. But in Khurrana’s case, things were pretty rapid. He first appeared in Roadies and then he did theatre and some anchoring on TV and then Whammm… He swept us all off our feet after we saw him on the big screen in the film Vicky Donor.

Ayushmann at that time was already married and his wife was pregnant with their first baby. In other words, the baby had brought immense luck to him. Well, whatever the case was, the sudden barrage of calls and the instant recognition could have had swayed anyone from their goal. But Ayush stayed firm and had his feet firmly placed on the ground. His first film was a success and he was about to become a father of his baby! What else could a man want?

Well, apparently Tahira thought he never quite had it in him to become an actor. She completely negated the very idea of him being seen on the silver screen as the male lead. In an earnest chat with Tahira (Ayushmann’s wife), she revealed all of this and much more.

EXCLUSIVE: Tahira Kashyap Felt Ayushmann Khurrana Could Never Become A Hero Because He Was Not Good Looking

Tahira felt that he is not as good as much as it is required for someone to become an actor. Quipped she, “That was a crazy time, I wasn’t ready because I always undermined his capabilities of becoming an actor. He was always such a skinny scrawny guy with spectacles. I never believed that he can ever become an actor because actors quintessentially have to be bulky, masculine and very good looking and I thought my boyfriend is nowhere close to that, so he cannot do that.”

Tahira further stated that the success of Vicky Donor surprised her. She continued, “Therefore, once Vicky Donor happened, it shocked me, but honestly speaking both of us were very immature at that point in time. We married very early in life and then we had kids too very early. When Vicky Donor released, I was pregnant with our first child and suddenly the movie did so when that he was inundated by calls. So, both of us were very immature about the way we dealt the situation at hand but we both have stuck to each other and I am so glad about it because deep down he knows I am a good girl and I know he is a good boy! So, it was a smooth sail and we are where we are today!”
