EXCLUSIVE: The Makers Will Surely Realise Their Mistake Later, Says Zain Imam On Sarvgun Sampanna Closure

Nightmares can indeed be true. Well, this statement is more than right especially because something that was feared is now coming to pass.

Yes, Channel Mandrins have decided to pull the plug on this Shrenu Parikh and Zain Imam show Ek Bhram Sarvagun Sampanna!!

The Dipti Kalwani show had never shown any signs of a raise in the TRPs. The negative shade of the lead actress was said to be the reason. Due to this reason, the characters and their graphs were suddenly changed but the series didn’t see any jump even then. But it was only during last week when the show was a little high on the TRP content and the actors and technicians associated with it heaved a sigh of relief.

The show will come to an end on 13 September, to make way for the launch of Namah from 16 September at the 7 PM slot. The wedding of Kabir and Pooja, got the show some upward graph in numbers. And that’s when the lead actors of Ek Bhram Sarvagun Sampanna had confirmed the three-week-extension too which is now cut off!

    What’s more?

The actors and the unit have been notified of the wrap in the shoot which will happen tomorrow. When we exclusively got in touch with Zain Imam for clarity on the same, quipped he, “the extension was promised but for one reason, they cut it short.”

He further stated that one reason for the poor performance of the show is the dead slot given to them. He further said, “the makers will surely realise their mistake later because our show is now raking in good numbers even though it is a dead time slot that has been given to us.”

Shedding further light on the last date of airing the show on TV, he said, “there is no clarity as of now. They are looking to launch ‘Namah’ on our time slot. However, for now, the last telecast date might be the 20th. However, there is no clarity!”

We tried to get in touch with Producer Dipti Kalwani and Channel head (Gaurav Banerjee) for confirmation but could not get through to them.
