Farah Khan Ali Pens A Special Note For Kangana Ranaut

Farah Khan Ali Writes To Kangana About Rangoli: Hope She Realises She Has Responsibility More Than Just Being Your Sister

A few days back, Kangana Ranaut’s sister Rangoli Chandel shared her views on Tablighi Jamaat in a reportedly offensive tweet, which did not go down well with celebrities such as filmmaker Reema Kagti, actress Kubbra Sait and Sussanne Khan’s sister and jewelry designer Farah Khan Ali. They reported the tweet and requested Twitter to take action and pretty soon Rangoli’s Twitter handle was suspended. Yesterday, Kangana shared a video on her Instagram handle and spoke about the suspension as well as why freedom of speech is important in a democracy.

Kangana stated that Farah and Reema have made false claims and also shared that social media platforms like Twitter should be ‘demolished’. She also suggested that we should start our own platforms. Well, last night Farah Khan Ali penned a special note for Kangana in which she explained why she reported Rangoli’s account. She began her message by saying that she’s a huge fan and thinks Kangana is an ‘amazing actress’. Farah went on to write that using the word ‘Nazi’ was inappropriate and Rangoli should be more responsible with her tweets.

"I have nothing personal against Rangoli or you and have even met Rangoli in the past where she came across sweet. She has been an acid victim and now a social activist so should be more responsible with her tweets. She should inspire all who have lost hope to have hope. She should lead by example. Spewing hatred towards a community and calling for them to be killed for the acts of few is unacceptable. I do hope she sees her error and realises that she has the social and moral responsibility of so much more than just being your sister," she wrote.

Farah also added that she hopes Rangoli sees her error and realizes that she has the social and moral responsibility of so much more than just being Kangana's sister.

We wonder how the Queen actress will react to this post. Any guesses?
