Fatima Sana Shaikh Says She'd Still Says 'Yes' To Doing Thugs Of Hindostan Again Despite Its Box Office Failure

It’s been two years since Aamir Khan’s last big theatrical release Thugs Of Hindostan proved to be the biggest box office dud and the actor soon after issued an apology to the audience for failing them. Now, even two years later Fatima Sana Sheikh is still giving answers about what went wrong with the project revealing how the movie impacted her nascent career in films.

The actress who has seen two major releases this Diwali, Ludo on OTT and the other Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari theatres, maintains that she has no regrets about doing the film despite the box office disaster it turned out to be. Speaking to Spotboye, Fatima in fact says that she’d still say yes to Thugs Of Hindostan if she was offered it today.

"Any project where you give 100 percent, agar uss cheez ka phall acha nahi hota, toh aapko dukh hota hi hai [If the results are not what you expected, I does make you upset]. Not just me, but everyone related to the film- from the spot dada to the producer was feeling sad. I went through a bit of grief but the fact is I really enjoyed working on that project. If you ask me if I would do the film again, I will say, 'Yes,'" the actress told the portal.

In earlier interviews Fatima revealed she was dropped from a few projects because Thugs failed and how it made her feel her career was over. She, however, decided not to give up on her career that she had worked really hard for even if it meant doing just one film in a year
