Fighter: Ananya Panday Shares Details About Her Character, Is All Praises For Co-Star Vijay Deverakonda

Ananya Panday seems to be on a roll now. The actress had two releases back in 2019 itself, when she made her debut with Student Of The Year 2. In fact, she now has three films on her kitty. The excitement for her is manifolds since one of the films would be a pan Indian film! In an interview, she has now given more details about her character from this film and about her future co-star, Vijay Deverakonda.

Talking to Mumbai Mirror, Ananya said that she finds her character from Puri Jagganadh’s Fighter extremely relatable. She said, “My character is quite like the real me. I think young girls will be able to relate to her cute, funny and charming personality.” She is also keen to do most of her dubbing by herself. She said, “I am working on my Telugu too, learning a few words every day on the set. I will try to dub for myself in as many languages as possible.”

She was also all praises for Vijay Deverakonda. Talking about the Arjun Reddy actor, she said, “Vijay is kind, smart, well-spoken and knows how to hold a conversation.” She also said that she felt he was ‘absolutely brilliant’ in Arjun Reddy.

Ananya seems to be pretty excited about Fighter, which she has called an ‘out-and-out Puri Jagganadh film’, totally ‘massey and dramatic’. Are you excited for the film too?
