    RIP: Film Producer Rajkumar Barjatya Breathes His Last

    Rajkumar Barjatya, who produced Hum Chaar, which released last week, has passed away. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to confirm the news where he wrote: "Shocked and saddened to learn of Rajkumar Barjatya ji’s demise... Raj Babu - as he was affectionately called - was an extremely soft-spoken person... Heartfelt condolences to Sooraj, the Barjatya family and #Rajshri parivaar." He was admitted to Reliance Hurkissondas Hospital two days back due to some illness. 

    Rajkumar has produced several movies like Piya Ka Ghar (1972), Hum Aapke Hain Koun...! (1994), Hum Saath Saath Hain (1999), Hum Pyaar Tumhi Se Kar Baithe (2002), Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon (2003), Uuf Kya Jadoo Mohabbat Hai (2004), Vivah (2006), Isi Life Mein (2010) etc. His 2019 release includes Hum chaar, directed by Abhishek Dixit.

    Barjatya began his career as an assistant director to Mahesh Bhatt and made his directorial debut with Maine Pyaar Kya in 1989. The film starred Salman Khan and Bhagyshree.
