Filmmaker Krish Revisits His Fight With Kangana Ranaut Over Manikarnika, Feared He'd Remain Unknown To The World

Actress Kangana Ranaut has a trail of controversies following behind her wherever she goes most of them big enough to still be subjects of discussion till date. Revisiting one such controversy, filmmaker Krish Jagarlamudi for ‘one last time’ revisited his tussle over direction credit for Manikarnika with the actress back in 2019.

Krish spoke about the controversy on Samantha Akkineni’s talk show Sam Jam where he admitted that his biggest fear was remaining unknown. Talking about what happened with Manikarnika where Kangana played the lead, he said, "I want to speak for one last time. Kangana and her team watched the film and I got a call after two days. My only fear was that I might remain unknown to the world. As artists, we can only show our potential to the world when we get the right opportunities.”

While Kangana Ranaut back in 2019 had claimed that she directed 70% of the film and the director contradicted her. He had in a previous interview claimed that the actress had complaints after he had finished editing the film and demanded changes by pointing out how other actors in the film had more screen time and how some others were overshadowing her.

When the matter became a full-blown controversy Krish backed out of the whole debate saying he’s tired of Kangana and the whole controversy and that both he and the actress are not going anywhere.
