Filmmaker Siddharth Anand In Talks With Bahubali Star Prabhas For A Large Scale Action Thriller: Reports

Filmmaker Siddharth Anand has made a prominent place for himself in the big-budget action thriller category in Bollywood. He has back-to-back projects lined up in the genre the current one being Shah Rukh Khan’s big comeback entertainer Pathan. Even though the filmmaker is pretty engaged in the foreseeable future it has not apparently stopped him from planning more ambitious projects ahead.

Siddharth Anand who will begin work on Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer Fighter, which was recently announced, soon after Pathan, the filmmaker is said to be in talks with actor Prabhas for a pan Indian action thriller.

According to a Pinkvilla report, Siddharth has already had multiple meetings with the Babhubali star in Hyderabad last year to discuss the project he has in mind right before he got down to business with Pathan. The report further claims that while these talks are still in the early stages and the South star has requested Siddharth for a script the meetings have so far gone well.

If all works out the film with Prabhas could hit the floors in December 2022. Till then both Siddharth and Prabhas have their own individual jam packed schedules to get by. The filmmaker has two large scale films to finish and the actor who has begun shoot for Salaar post which he will star shooting for Om Raut’s Adipurush and then has Nag Ashwin’s sci-fi film also to complete.
