Filmmaker Vipul Amrutlal Shah Working On A Show Around Human Trial Of Vaccines, To Begin Shoot In November?

The coronavirus outbreak has made all of us rethink about life. The pandemic had forced us to take a break and stay back at our homes. While this proved tough on many, help began to pour in for the needy too. As we cope up to the new normal with the hope that things will get back like it was in the pre-COVID times, we have also started to appreciate the smaller joys of life. The world is now gearing up for human trials of the COVID-19 vaccine and at this time, filmmaker Vipul Amrutlal Shah too announced a show on the very same topic.

So was it planned? The filmmaker reveals that it was a coincidence since he had been working on the script for over three years. Talking to Mirror, a source close to the project said, “He has been working on the idea since and has interacted with doctors and consultants who have worked on vaccines so he can incorporate the process into the screenplay.”

The show might kickstart in November and the source further added that the viewers should expect two strong female characters in the show. The actors are yet to be locked. The source added, "Casting will begin in a fortnight. Due to the complexities of the plot, Vipul had decided to go with a series rather than a feature film. It will be a thriller."
