F.I.R Lodged Against Sugandha Mishra In Punjab For Breaking Covid-19 Protocols At Her Wedding Based On A Viral Video

Comedians Sugandha Mishra and Sanket Bhosle who got married last week in Punjab, have now landed in trouble with the local police authorities for allegedly breaking Covid-19 protocols during their wedding.

An F.I.R has been filed against The Kapil Sharma Show star Sugandha Mishra at the Phagwada police station near Jalandhar in Punjab for gathering a crowd at her wedding instead. The basis of the F.I.R was reportedly a viral video shared from this celebrity wedding which was held at The Cabbana Resort on the outskirts of Jalandhar.

According to the Covid-19 guidelines issued by the state Sugandha and Sanket were allowed to have only 40 guests at the wedding. However, it has been alleged that over a hundred guests were present at the event. Sanket’s family and the hotel authorities have also been named in the F.I.R.

Sugandha who hails from Jalandhar, tied the knot with Sanket last month on April 26. The couple had already postponed their wedding plans once last year due to the Covid-19 pandemic. They have been sharing several pictures and videos from the big day on social media. No arrests have been made by the police in the case yet.

The newlyweds are not the only celebrities who have been booked for flouting Covid-19 protocols in the state. Earlier names of Gippy Garewal and Jimmy Shergill had emerged for breaching protocol and shooting during the lockdown in the state.
