Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli welcomed their first born, a baby girl, on Monday January 11. Virat’s brother Vikas Kohli has now shared the very first picture of baby Virushka.

On Instagram, Vikas posted a picture of the newborn baby Kohli’s tiny feet and welcomed her into the family. He wrote, “Happiness overboard .... angel in the house”.

The elated father Virat shared the good news with all their fans and followers on social media on Monday with a statement, breaking the internet with the good news. The statement read - "We are thrilled to share with you all that we have been blessed with a baby girl this afternoon. We thank you all for your love, prayers and good wishes. Anushka and the baby are both healthy and we are feeling beyond blessed to start this new chapter of our lives. We hope that you can respect our privacy this time. Love Virat."

Anushka and Virat had first announced in August 2020 that they are expecting their first baby. They had managed to keep the whole thing a secret and for the first trimester of Anushka’s pregnancy. The couple has now been busy receiving good wishes from all over the world as they set out on the journey called parenthood.
