Friends: The Reunion To Premiere In Early June For Indian Audience; Deets Inside

Even after 17 long years since the last episode was aired, Friends continues to be one of the most loved and popular shows in the world. Featuring an extremely talented cast of actors such as Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer, the show follows the story of 6 friends. Well much to the delight of fans, the much awaited reunion is finally happening and makers recently dropped a teaser which left most of us with happy tears in our eyes. It is set to premiere on May 27^th on HBO Max.

Initially it was reported that the unscripted special may stream on Netflix for the Indian audience as HBO Max is not available in the country as of now. However, latest reports have revealed that the launch of HBO Max in India has now been expedited. In a report shared by Mid Day, a source revealed, “The team is putting their might behind launching it as soon as possible as they believe the sitcom special will bring them immense traction. Coordinating remotely has been cumbersome, as India continues to battle the second wave of the pandemic.”

But sadly we will still have to wait a little longer. The source shared, “While the international premiere is slated for May 27, the streaming giant might have a date with India in early June, if all timelines are met.” Well, we all know Friends: The Reunion will be worth the wait. So let’s patiently wait for the official announcement, even though we know it’s hard to keep calm!
