Fukrey 3 To Go On Floors In April; Will Be Shot Internationally With New Additions To The Lead Cast

After leaving the audience in splits with the 2013 Fukrey and the 2017 Fukrey Returns, Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani are all set to blow the audience away with the third installment of the comedy franchise. Directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, the film will feature Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Ali Fazal, Manjot Singh, Pankaj Tripathi and Richa Chadha in their much loved characters of Hunny, Choocha, Zafar Bhai, Lali, Pandit and the best of the lot- Bholi Punjaban. Well, latest reports have revealed that Fukrey 3 will be going on floors in April this year.

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Mrighdeep shared, “We are very excited. We will start shooting from early April, so we are just two months away now. Presently the prep is going on and we are in the process of finalising the locations and the remaining of the cast. Like always, the film is set in Delhi and 90 percent of it will be shot there.” But that’s not all! The filmmaker went on to add, “We haven’t decided on where exactly we will be shooting internationally as yet, but we are definitely going abroad with Fukrey 3.”

Fukrey 3 will also see new additions in the lead cast! The filmmaker shared that there will be a lot of layers in the film this time as none of the events, plots and problems of Fukrey and Fukrey Returns will be repeated. He stated, “It’s a step ahead from what 1 and 2 were.”
