    FWICE Calls Off Shoot For Shows Like Kumkum Bhagya, Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega Over Insurance Woes, Shift Timings

    The shoots of a few TV shows which included Kumkum Bhagya, Kundali Bhagya, Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega and Sa Re Ga Ma L'il Champs were supposed to begin on June 23, Tuesday. However, the mother body of associations FWICE (Federation Of Western India Cine Employees) called off the shoots just a day ahead, because the IFTPC (Indian Film & TV Producers Council) did not meet their demands of working in eight-hour shifts and providing insurance cover of Rs 50 lakh for workers.

    Speaking to Mid-Day, B.N. Tiwari revealed that all the conditions had been put forward in the month of May. According to him some of the demands, which included the settlement of dues and timely payment, were not met by the IFTPC. and that the IFTPC announced only a Rs 10 lakh insurance cover and therefore, the FWICE and CINTAA decided that technicians and artistes would not be reporting to work.
