Gauahar Khan Went Numb When She Won Bigg Boss 7; Remembers Thinking She Would Lose When She Saw Tanuja Ji

Bigg Boss 14 is right around the corner and this time things are going to be very different in the controversial reality show. While 12 contestants will reportedly be competing for the trophy, special guests and ex-contestants Sidharth Shukla, Hina Khan and Gauahar Khan will be mentoring the housemates. While Sidharth won season 13 and Hina emerged as the first runner up of season 11, Gauahar had lifted the trophy of Bigg Boss 7. But did you know the actress was worried that she would not win after she saw somebody as the grand finale?

While Gauahar became the winner, Tanishaa Mukerji emerged as the first runner up. Remembering the grand finale in a chat with Pinkvilla, Gauahar shared, “I saw, Tanuja ji (veteran actress and Tanishaa’s mother) is sitting there during the finale. So for the first time in the entire season, I saw somebody from Tanishaa's family, because I don't think she received a letter or anything like that, and we all used to very sad about that. We all got some messages during the season, but she kinda didn't get, for whatever reasons, and we always used to be like Tanishaa it will all be fine.” She went on to add, “When I saw her (Tanuja ji), I was like Oh my God, the legend, Tanuja ji is sitting that means maybe, just maybe, I am not winning this.”

She apparently had over a thousand different thoughts in her mind in that one moment. But Gauahar finally decided to believe that she’s going to win and kept praying. She was ecstatic to see the crowd cheering for her and felt that being a finalist is also a huge deal. Well, we can’t wait to see all the tadka Gauahar adds to the 14^th season this year!
