    Gaurav Arya From Rhea Chakraborty's 'Drug Chats' Gets Summoned By ED, Says He Is 'Respected Hotelier' Not A Drug Peddler

    With Sushant Singh Rajput’s death probe getting a new narcotics angle the Enforcement Directorate has now summoned Gaurav Arya for questioning. Based in Goa Gaurav who was reported to be a ‘drug peddler’ after his chats with Rhea Chakraborty were retrieved by the agency says he is a ‘respected hotelier’ and claimed he has not been in touch with the actress since three years.

    Talking to Times Now Arya said, "I am being dragged into this case for no reason. I haven't had any contact with Rhea in the past 3 years."

    In messages exchanged between Rhea and him in 2017, her message about trying hard drugs and enquiring if he has a drug called MD have come to light. Gaurav says he is willing to comply with authorities. He says, "My family is harrowed. Am getting death threats. Whatever the issue is.. am willing to comply with the authorities. My lawyer is in touch. Am right here. Am not going anywhere." 

    Meanwhile, Rhea who has been accused of administering drugs to Sushant Singh Rajput has been booked by the Narcotics Control Bureau along with three others under sections, 20, 22, 27 and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.

    The Enforcement Directorate has already questioned Rhea multiple times and now after the new evidence found by them, Gaurav Arya has also been roped into their investigation of possible money laundering.
