Gautam Gulati Says Biggies In Bollywood Should Be Like Salman Khan, Recalls How The Superstar Changed His Fate In A Week

Salman Khan has been the godfather to many new talents in the film industry and while it would be a dream come true to be launched by his production house for many, there’s nothing like working beside him. TV actor Gautam Gulati is all set for that experience with Salman Khan starrer Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai and in a recent interview he revealed all about how the Bollywood superstar changed his life in just a matter of a week.

Gautam in a recent interview spoke about being an outsider in the industry and how Salman has been ‘a helping hand’ giving him his big break after 13 years of his acting career. He tell Navbharat Times, "I met Salman Khan at a party a few months ago. He asked me what am I doing, to which, I told that I'm not getting the kind of films I want to do. Some releases are stuck. He then asked me to work with him, I could not believe it. When I asked again, he said - yes, of course, take this number."

Talking about how everything materialized quickly after their chat, Gautam said, "Within the next 4 days, his team gave me my look for the film. There are no big rules in working with Salman. Salman made a commitment and I got a call the next day. He introduced me to his team and Prabhu Deva. I will remember for a lifetime how Salman picked up an outsider. I spoke to him on Friday, got selected on Monday and started shooting from Tuesday. My fate had changed in just a week. Big people in the film industry should be like Salman Khan."

As for the film itself, Salman Khan is ready to resume work once again and will be completing Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai in Mumbai itself. The film also stars Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff and Randeep Hooda and is being helmed by Prabhu Deva who also directed Salman in Dabangg 3.
