Gandii Baat actress Gehana Vasisth who is also facing charges in the adult film racket in which businessman Raj Kundra was recently arrested, has spoken about his future plans to launch a new app. The actress who was arrested in the case earlier this year when the Mumbai Police busted a shoot in Madh Island along with 4 others says that the businessman had plans to cast sister-in-law and actress Shamita Shetty in one of the projects on his new app BollyFame.

Gehana had lent support to Raj Kundra through an interview earlier where she claimed that the content produced for his apps was not porn but much in tune with the adult content which is popular in web series these days. Now, talking to Navbharat Times about his new app she said, "Just a few days before I got arrested, I went to Raj’s office. There I got to know that he is planning to launch an app called Bollyfame. They were planning to showcase reality shows, chat shows, music videos and non-bold films the app. We also discussed a few scripts and thought about casting Shamita Shetty in one script, Sai Tamhankar and a few other actors.”

The actress further claimed that she was to direct the films for the new app and Shamita Shetty had also given her for the project.

Raj Kundra was arrested by the Mumbai Police Crime Branch on July 19 on allegations of being a ‘key conspirator’ in a porn film racket operating in the city. The police claim that pornographic content was produced by Raj Kundra in Mumbai and sold to U.K. based app ‘Hotshots’ owned by a comapny named Kernin.

On Friday Raj Kundra’s police custody was extended till July 27.
