    Genelia D'Souza Tested Positive For COVID-19 Three Weeks Ago, Finally Reunited With Family After Testing Negative

    As the COVID-19 cases climb in India, several stars including Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan, S.S. Rajamouli and now Genelia Deshmukh have battled the deadly disease and recovered. After three weeks of testing positive for COVID-19 Genelia only shared the news of her contacting the disease after she tested negative for the virus on Saturday evening.

    In a not the Jaane Tu Ya Jane Na actress confessed that she was asymptomatic and was in isolation for the past 21 days. The actress is happy to have reunited with her family today. Genelia wrote, “my battle with this disease has been much easier but at the same time I must admit that these last 21 days in isolation have been the most challenging for me to deal with.”

    She admits that the isolation phase was very lonely for her and added, “No amount of FaceTime & digital immersion can kill the evil of loneliness.”

    The concluding her note Genelia wrote, “I am happy to be back with my family and loved ones. Surround yourselves with love... that's true strength and it's all one needs. Test early, eat healthy, stay fit -the only way to fight this monster. Love Genelia”
