Govinda’s Wife Sunita Shares Health Update After Actor Contracts COVID-19; His Senses Of Smell, Taste Are Intact

We have seen a huge hike in the number of COVID-19 positive cases with the second wave that has taken over in the past few weeks. Just yesterday, Bollywood actors Akshay Kumar and Govinda announced that they have also contracted the virus. While the two opted for home quarantine, recent reports suggest that Akshay was admitted to a hospital yesterday. Govinda, on the other hand, quarantined himself at his Juhu bungalow. Meanwhile his children are residing at their flat.

In a chat with ETimes, Govinda’s wife Sunita shared a health update for his fans and well-wishers. She shared, “He had symptoms of a cold and we thought it would be best if he could get a COVID test done as those symptoms were not receding. His senses of smell and taste are intact, he has no fever either. Importantly, he is eating well. Currently, he has just a bodyache and cold.” For the uninitiated, Sunita herself recovered from the virus a few weeks ago.

During the interview, she shared that she might have contracted COVID-19 during her visit to Kolkata with Govinda. She developed a few symptoms on returning home and hence decided to get tested. The star wife concluded, “Anyway, I am okay now, but now it's him.” Well, we wish Govinda a speedy recovery and hope to see him back in action soon!
