Gulabo Sitabo Trailer: Landlord Amitabh Bachchan Tries His Best To Get Rid Of Tenant Ayushmann Khurrana; Watch

Shoojit Sircar’s directorial Gulabo Sitabo is undoubtedly one of the most-waited films of the year. Featuring incredibly talented superstars Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana, the comedy drama will premiere on Amazon Prime on 12^th of June and fans are over the moon with joy to watch it at home with their families amid the nationwide coronavirus lockdown. After the interesting first look, posters and teaser, the makers dropped the final trailer today and it’s even better than what we expected.

Set in Lucknow, the story follows the daily lives of landlord Mirza (Big B) and his tenant Baankey (Ayushmann). They share a bitter relationship and Mirza tries his best to get rid of Baankey but fails every time. He locks the ‘joint bathroom’, tries to charge money for the free parking and ultimately decides to sell the house. Amitabh looks superb as the grumpy old man who steals bulbs from Baankey’s room to sell at a store, whereas Ayushmann has done a fabulous job of portraying the quirky young man who is not ready to leave the ‘Fatima Haveli’. They have done such a mind-blowing job that you will end up thinking these are real life characters who have secretly been shot with a video camera. Their body language, accents and outfits are on-point! Actor Vijay Raaz is the cherry on top and will leave you rolling on the floor laughing.

Amitabh and Ayushmann are the most talented and adored actors of Bollywood and when they joined forces our expectations from the film went through the roof. Well, so far the trailer promises an entertaining cinematic experience and we have a feeling that dynamic duo Shoojit Sircar and Juhi Chaturvedi will soon have yet another super hit to their credit.
