Gully Boy Co-Stars Alia Bhatt And Vijay Varma Reunite For Shah Rukh Khan's Dark Comedy Titled Darlings?

The very talented Alia Bhatt and the exceptionally versatile Vijay Varma shared the big screen in Zoya Akhtar’s blockbuster hit film Gully Boy. While Alia played the role of Ranveer Singh’s girlfriend Safeena, Vijay portrayed the role of his best friend Moeen Arif. The two did not have many scenes together but won us over with their individual performances. Well latest reports suggest that Alia and Vijay will soon be reuniting for a new project.

According to the latest report shared by Peeping Moon, the two will be seen sharing the screen in an upcoming dark comedy, tentatively titled Darlings. Backed by superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s production banner Red Chillies Entertainment, the women-centric film will apparently feature Vijay and Alia as husband and wife. How exciting is that! The report further reveals that Darlings is all set to go on floors in January next year.

Well other than Darlings, Alia has many exciting projects in her kitty including Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much-awaited biographical crime film Gangubai Kathiawadi, Ayan Mukerji and Karan Johar’s Brahmāstra co-starring boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor and superstar Amitabh Bachchan, S. S. Rajamouli’s period action drama RRR and Takht alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. She’s surely going to be a very busy bee!
