    One of the biggest hits of year 2019, Zoya Akhtar’s masterpiece Gully Boy won many hearts and sure left a deep impact on the audience. Starring Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt in lead roles and Kalki Koechlin, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Vijay Raaz in supporting roles, the musical drama follows the life of an aspiring street rapper from Mumbai’s Dharavi slums. Gully Boy not only received rave reviews from critics and fans, but also got selected as the Indian entry for the Best International Feature Film at the 92nd Academy Awards.

    Recently, the makers shared an unseen clip from the film on their Youtube channel, featuring a rap battle between Siddhant aka MC Sher and D’evil. It sent the internet in a state of frenzy and netizens were surely impressed. Now, Ranveer has shared yet another clip in which his character Murad slams a stereotypical comment about Dharavi residents like a boss. In the video, two college students come up to him and his friend in the canteen asking for drugs. Apparently, they assumed that Murad and his friend must be into substance abuse as they live in slums. Well, the under-dog gives them a taste of their own medicine, which leaves the two in shock.

    Gully Boy emerged as the seventh highest-grossing Hindi film of 2019 and is undoubtedly a must-watch.
