Exclusive: Gulshan Kumar biopic release date out

The T-Series head honcho Gulshan Kumar biopic Mogul was announced with Akshay Kumar in the lead, but then the news was dismissed by both Akshay and Bhushan. It was speculated that the producers wanted to rope in a Khan for the film.

According to industry sources, Bhushan had asked Amir to produce the film along with him and possibly get Salman to play the lead. The source was also quoted saying that “Bhushan has a great rapport with Salman over the past many years and they are waiting for the formalities to be completed.”

A confirmation of the release was also not there. And now, Taran Adarsh on his twitter handle announced the confirmation of Aamir producing the film. He tweeted, “Amir Khan Productions to release Gulshan Kumar biopic in Christmas 2019... Written and directed by Subhash Kapoor... Filming to begin early next year.
