Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor is currently basking in the success of his recent release, Spotlight, which was a part of the Netflix series, Ray. The audience has liked his performance in the series and we are hoping to see him again soon. Now, in a recent interview, he has opened up about who his inspiration is. Well, it is none other than his cousin, Arjun Kapoor.

Talking to radio host Siddharth Kannan, Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor said that he sees Arjun as an 'inspiration'. He further added, "See, Arjun has had a very difficult life. People don't really understand or give him credit for what he has been through on his own to achieve what he has and to be in a position that he is in right now. It is very easy to bring people down. It's the easiest thing to do when you don't understand somebody's struggle."

He also said, "You know he has lost a parent. He's had issues growing up. He has physically transformed himself, had mainstream success, he provides for his family on his own. Come on, he's done a lot. So I think I am very inspired by his journey. I don't think I have the kind of strength and determination that Arjun has."

Well, we have to agree that Harsh is right. Arjun Kapoor has had his fair bit of struggle and had seen his parents' Mona Shourie and Boney Kapoor's separation back when he was in school. In a recent interview, he had said, "I have gone through personal anguish. I have gone through personal trauma. I have gone through personal upheavals." And yet, with sheer determination, he made his way and despite severe criticism, has continued to deliver earnest performances.
