Has Ajay Devgn Backed Out Of YRF's Superhero Film With Ahaan Pandey? Here's What We Know

It was last year that reports of a superhero project backed by YRF had been doing the rounds. It was said that the film would serve as the launch pad for Ahaan Pandey. It was also reported that Ajay Devgn will be a part of the film and will play the super villain. This would also have marked Ajay's first collaboration with Aditya Chopra! However, it now looks like the actor has backed out of it!

According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, Ajay Devgn will no longer be a part of YRF:s superhero project. A source was quoted saying, "Ajay had never signed on the dotted line. He had a powerful role, too. But now, it seems he doesn't have dates to allot to the project. Adi doesn't want to push the film any further since Ahaan also has been waiting for a few years now. They were still trying to chalk out a plan that could work out both for the superstar and the banner but at this point, it seems improbable."

Ajay Devgn indeed has his hands full with several projects, including Mayday, that he is also directing, Thank God, Maidaan, Chanakya along with his web-debut, Rudra- The Edge of Darkness. Well, we were eagerly waiting to see Ajay in the Shiv Rawail film, but looks like it won't happen. But Ajay still has a lot of films to offer the audiences.
