Has Ayushmann Khurrana Hiked His Fee By 500% After Recent Successes?

With back to back box-office hits and constant critical acclaim, Ayushmann Khurrana is truly the next big thing in Bollywood. His last release, Dream Girl went on to rake in more than 142 crores which earned 365.66% profit for the makers. These days, the rumor is, in the wake of his current box-office capabilities, Ayushmann Khurrana has hiked his fee by a whopping 500%.

Ayushmann, who was previously charging about Rs. 2 crores per film, has now increased his remuneration to Rs. 10 crores. A trade source close development revealed, “Dream Girl actor Ayushmann Khurrana, has been having a dream run at the box-office. His penchant for quirky movies with some highly exciting characters has made him an extremely popular star among the audience who feel that he is among those rare stars who are combining success with sensible cinema. Brand Ayushmann today spells consistency, success and good content. The fact that he can rake in double figures on an opening day is probably the reason he has decided to hike his remuneration. He is working very hard, choosing films with care and now with his success ratio, he has been flooded with more offers. Apparently, he has upped his fees from Rs. 2 crores to Rs. 10 crores – which is a whopping 500 percent hike.” Given his current acceptability, we are sure that the makers would be more than willing to shell out any amount to make Ayushmann a part of their films.

On the work front, Ayushmann would be next seen in Bala with Bhumi Pednekar and Yami Gautam which is going to hit the theatres on 22^nd November. The film is being directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan, the same team that came up with Stree last year and Ayushmann’s fans are eagerly waiting for the quirky comedy.
