Has Pooja Hegde Been Approached For Vijay's Thalapathy 65? Here's What The Actress Said...

A lot of reports surrounding Vijay's next, tentatively titled Thalapathy 65, has been doing the rounds. A few weeks back, rumours had been doing the rounds that Nawazuddin Siddiqui has been roped in to play the antagonist in this one, but he claimed it to be false. It is also being heard that Pooja Hegde might play the leading lady. Now, the actress herself has opened up about it.

She has answered neither said a yes, nor a no when asked the question. Talking to Pinkvilla, she said, "I think it would be great if I could be a part of that film and I think, eventually Tamil is something I wanted to do since I started from there, my debut film was in Tamil. So, let's hope it works out and I am a part of this beautiful project. I'm very excited if works out."

On further probing, she said, "I hope it works out is all I want to say because I had been wanting to work with Vijay and doing a Tamil film, it is something that has been on the cards. I feel if it is written, It will happen."

Well, we hope that it happens, because that is something fans are looking forward to. Pooja is busy with quite a few projects at hand- including Prabhas starrer Radhe Shyam and Ranveer Singh starrer Cirkus.
