Has Ranbir Kapoor Officially Asked Mahesh Bhatt For Alia Bhatt’s Hand In Marriage?

Looks like things are moving at a dizzying speed with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. It was only recently that the reports surfaced that Alia has already ordered her lehenga at Sabyasachi’s for her nuptials and it was almost confirmed that the lovebirds will tie the knot as soon as Rishi Kapoor returns from New York after completing the last leg of his cancer treatment.

Though both the Kapoors and Bhatts have either denied or been tight-lipped about the wedding rumors, if recent reports are to be believed then Ranbir has recently met Mahesh Bhatt and officially asked him for Alia’s hand in marriage. If this is true, then we are sure that the wedding bells are going to ring sooner than we expected initially.

On the work front, Alia and Ranbir are shooting together for Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra while Alia is also in between other projects. She recently finished shooting a schedule for Sadak 2 and will soon start working on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Inshallah opposite Salman Khan. Of course, then there is also Karan Johar’s Takht for which the shoots will begin next year.
