For a few days now, rumours had been doing the rounds that Bigg Boss 13 winner, actor Sidharth Shukla has been approached for Om Raut's magnum opus, Adipurush. Reports claimed that the actor, who had earlier made his Bollywood debut with Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, has been offered to play the character of Ravaana's son Meghnad in the film. Now, the actor has addressed the rumour.

When asked about whether he will be seen in Adipurush, Sidharth Shukla told Filmfare, “Honestly, it hasn’t come to me yet. So, I really don’t know if there is any truth to it or not. For me, I really don’t know because nothing has come to me.”

Well, fans had been hoping to see Sidharth in a big film like Adipurush, and only the makers can now confirm if this rumour would turn true or not. Earlier, it had also been claimed that Angad Bedi might be playing the role of Meghnad. We hope an announcement is made soon. Adipurush will star Prabhas as Ram while Saif Ali Khan will play Lankesh Ravaan. Kriti Sanon was roped in as Sita just a few months back, and Sunny Singh of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety fame would also be seen in an important role in the film.
