Here Is Why Ranbir And Alia Dropped The Shooting Of Brahmastra In Varanasi Midway And Rushed To Mumbai

Ever since the film was announced, Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra has been in the news constantly. Whether it’s the Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt affair or the delayed release date, Brahmastra has been one of the most talked about films in the recent months.

The film is once again in the news as Ranbir and Alia were recently spotted at the Mumbai airport. The couple had left the shoot of the film midway through their Varanasi schedule. Unfortunately, Alia Bhatt has come down with a stomach bug which made it difficult for her to go through the schedule. A source close to the film revealed to a popular entertainment portal, “Alia continued to work but Ayan decided to call off the shoot. The team will now return to the city in November for the song. Alia will soon be consulting a specialist and taking some time off to recuperate in Mumbai before resuming work.”

The pictures from their Varanasi schedule has been going viral on the internet and doing a great job of further boosting our excitement for the film. The film was initially supposed to release on Christmas this year but Ayan Mukerji announced that it has been delayed to mid-2020 to give the VFX team enough time to make sure that the visual effects are perfect.
