Here Is Why Ranbir Kapoor Is Probably Not Winning The Best Boyfriend Award Any Time Soon

A Bollywood royalty, an actor par excellence, and a bona fide superstar- Ranbir Kapoor is one artist that we are proud of. Whether it is his boyish good looks or the simmering intensity of his eyes, it almost difficult to not have an absolute crush on this magic of nature.

But, when it comes to his much-publicized personal life, it is clear that if there is one thing that he is not very good at, it is being a boyfriend. Since most of his personal relationships have played out very much in the public eyes, here are a few instances which go to prove that he might win all the Best Actor awards out there, he is surely not winning any for being the best boyfriend.

Sonam Kapoor

The debutantes of two of the most illustrious Kapoor families made their foray into Bollywood and it was hardly surprising that sparks flew. Throughout the promotions of Saawariya, the Ranbir and Sonam affair was given a lot of focus and it looked almost official when the two were seen holding hands in public. However, things soon ended as Ranbir dumped Sonam to woo Priyanka. 

Deepika Padukone

There was hardly a fan who could keep their eyes dry when this absolutely gorgeous and much in love couple broke up and made all of us question the existence of true love, yes, we were that affected. But, our regrets was nothing compared to what Deepika had to go through. Apart from her work stress, her terrible and messy break-up with Ranbir plunged her into depression. Given the fighter that she is, she managed to bounce back and is now the other half of India's most loved power couple with Ranveer Singh and will always be applauded for being the first super star of her stature to start the discourse on mental health on public platform.

Katrina Kaif

Despite a rather murky start, it looked like Ranbir would be able to commit this time. It was a well-known fact that Ranbir did cheat on Deepika to be with Katrina and their holiday pictures from Ibiza further made things uncomfortable. But with time, the relationship became stronger and Ranbir seemed much mature than he had been in his previous relationship. Things reached a point where actually marriage was on the cards. But, finally Ranbir's commitment phobia kicked in and he snapped ties with Katrina as well.

Alia Bhatt

We were not really sure how to feel when two the most talented artists of our generation decided to get together. The chemistry between Alia and Ranbir actually seems genuine and we love that Ranbir is finally so heavily invested in another relationship and how Alia blushes at the very mention of him. But all of it looks to precariously balanced when you see the two having a fight during the screening of Gully Boy or Ranbir calling Alia self-obsessed in public. We sincerely hope this relationship is also not heading in the same way as his other relationships.
