Hina Khan Wants To Play A Character Similar To Mirzapur; Says ‘I Am Ready For Any Challenge’

One of the most popular and adored celebrities of Indian television, the gorgeous Hina Khan celebrated 12 glorious years in the entertainment industry on Tuesday. In the past many years, the actress has not only won our hearts with her killer performances and drool worthy glam outfits, but also proved her versatility as an entertainer. May it be sanskari bahu Akshara Singhania in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Boss Lady Sameera Khanna in Vikram Bhatt’s Hacked or Komolika Chaubey, the feisty vamp of Kasautii Zindagii Kay, she has left us in awe time and again through television, films and OTT!

Now in a recent chat with Mid Day, Hina has revealed that she would love to broaden her horizons and play a character in a massy show like Mirzapur. The actress shared, “I would like to play a character that is similar to Mirzapur. I want to do something totally out and out no-fashion with a typical accent that's based in UP. Although I have worked in a short film where I played a village girl, I would like to do something really big to show people that I can carry this look and character as well. I won't mind working in such a film or a web show. I am not restricted to anything, I am ready for any challenge.”

During the interview, Hina also opened up about dealing with internet trolls. She shared that she had her fair share of trolling but now she has learnt to not let it affect her. Hina explained, “You'll get trolled for a lot of small things, and being a public figure, people expect so much from us. Even when I upload a story on Instagram, and there is a typing error, we get trolled for that too! They are like, oh my God, she doesn't even know how to spell it. But people don't understand that even I can make mistakes. I can make errors too. What is the big deal in it?”
