Hrithik Roshan’s Super 30 was an example of fine cinema! He nailed the role. The actor effortlessly transformed himself into the Bihari Anand Kumar and made it look plausible! However, immediately after Super 30, Hrithik had to be mentally and physically prepared for his role in Yash Raj’s WAR!

In an interview with Spotboye, Hrithik revealed it was his selfishness that made him get Tiger on board for the project! According to the actor, the after-effects of Super 30 left him completely drained and the only person who could refuel him was Tiger!

Let me make it simpler. Before he could start off with War, Hrithik was completely off the track when it came to his physique. And according to him, Tiger was the only fuel that could egg him to push his limits and get into the shape that was very much necessary to be a part of the film.

During the interaction, the actor revealed, "I had played Anand sir in Super 30, right before War. I was lazy, stagnant, complacent and totally out of shape. I just knew Tiger's presence would ignite me to a level where I would have to be at my best. Without that impetus and thrust, maybe, I would continue being a little easy. I was really insistent that for my sake, I would want Tiger to be cast with me."
