Hrithik Roshan And Sajid Nadiadwala's Super 30 Set To Keep 'Achche Din' Rolling For Bollywood

Kabir Singh is an All Time Blockbuster. Article 15 is a Hit. Now Super 30 is set to release this Friday and industry is expecting that 'achche din' would indeed continue, what with the film promising some good entertainment. 

The fact that Hrithik Roshan is the leading man of the film has ensured that there is ample awareness around the film. Moreover, with Sajid Nadiadwala joining hands on the film, there is further credibility that Super 30 is gaining. The promotion so far has been apt while the marketing too has ensured that the right message around the film's core content is being conveyed.

It is quite apparent that Super 30 isn't one of those quintessential Bollywood flicks where the leading man turns out to be a superhero of sorts. In fact, this is also a genre-defying film since it doesn't quite get classified as a comedy, thriller or a family drama. It is, in fact, a more humane take on affairs and if the promo is any indication, there is ample mix of humor, emotions and drama in there with the core running theme of high inspiration promising to take forward the narrative.

Especially over the few years, it has been seen that audiences are more and more receptive around newer subjects being brought on screen. The super success of films like Uri - The Surgical Strike and Badla, which explored genres that haven't really been too exposed in Bollywood, is a clear example of that. Same can well be said about Gully Boy as well which brought to fore the rap culture, which isn't quite a usual theme that one could have expected to be explored.

In a way, Super 30 could well be finding a target audience of its own. In that aspect, both Hrithik Roshan and Sajid Nadiadwala are trying out something altogether new. Hrithik was last seen in commercial revenge drama Kaabil, which was a Box Office success. Of course, he has seen even bigger Hits and Blockbusters, and now that he is stepping into new territory with Super 30, one waits to see how audiences respond to it.

Ditto for Sajid Nadiadwala who is known for making family entertainers. The architect of Housefull, Baaghi and Judwaa franchises, Sajid has explored different mediums in the form of Highway and Rangoon in the past as well. However, Super 30 is definitely far more entertaining and commercially viable product in the offering and though it doesn't follow Bollywood's song and dance routine, it certainly promises entertainment quotient in a different manner.

So far, the team has done well to pitch the film rightly for what it is. Now that the stage has been set and D day is just round the corner, it would be time to dim the lights, get the curtains up, and wait to see what is in the offering by Hrithik Roshan and Sajid Nadiadwala with Super 30.
