Hrithik Roshan Talks About His Relationship With Ex-Wife Sussanne Khan, Says, “Love Can’t Turn Into Hate.”

Hrithik Roshan might be in a good space on his professional front, gearing up for his next release Super 30, and prepping for the film alongside Tiger Shroff, but his personal life has turned upside down. The actor, who did not want mental trauma and had therefore preponed the release of Super 30 to avoid a clash with Judgemental Hai Kya, has made headlines after sister Sunaina Roshan’s tweets and claims that he did not support her on her fight for love and Kangana Ranaut’s sister Rangoli Chandel too jumped onto the matter. And in these tough times, if someone has stood beside him like a rock, it is ex-wife Sussanne Khan. She has recently posted on her social media handle that everyone should “respect a family’s tough period”.

In an interview with GQ, the actor revealed that he shares a ‘beautiful relationship’ with his ex-wife. Quoting Kahil Gibran, he said:

“In The Prophet, Kahlil Gibran talks about love being a temple that’s held up by two columns. If the columns become one, the temple will topple. The further apart they are, and the stronger they are, the bigger the temple of love. So you have to respect each other’s individuality. It’s vital to be self-sufficient in your emotional needs. So anything that comes from the other person is welcome, but you don’t demand it.”

In fact, he also added,

“It’s a beautiful relationship. With our kids, with us as friends, it’s all about wisdom. One thing is for sure: Love can’t turn into hate. If it’s hate, it wasn’t love. The flipside of love… is also love. Once you understand that, you’ll keep finding ways back into love.”

Well, that has been quite beautifully put, we must say. Hrithik and Sussanne have been giving us couple goals ever since they have been together. In fact, even after their divorce, they have remained good friends and can often be seen spending time together with their kids Hridaan and Hrehaan.
