Hrithik Roshan Hasn't Backed Out Of Vikram Vedha Remake, Is Rather Excited To Play A Negative Role

For quite some time now, there has been a lot of buzz about the Vikram Vedha remake. While Saif Ali Khan has been constant, Hrithik had been first approached to reprise Vijay Sethupathi's character, followed by Aamir Khan and went back to Hrithik a few months back. However, the most recent buzz was that the War actor is considering backing out of the project! However, other sources are claiming that this is not true.

According to a report in Peepingmoon, Hrithik is actually super excited to be a part of the project. A source said, "Vikram Vedha is very much on with Hrithik as a gangster and Saif Ali Khan in the role of a righteous police officer. Sets were being erected in Mumbai when the lockdown was announced. The film has only been delayed due to the current COVID-19 situation and will get back on track as soon as things normalize. Hrithik is very excited to play a negative role and is looking forward to work with Saif Ali Khan for the first time."

Well, that's more heartening news. It was also said that Hrithik was thinking about getting back to the adaptation of The Night Manager. We hope that it happens too!
