Hrithik Roshan has made quite a splash this year with two back to back successes. While Super 30 got rave reviews and successful run considering the niche appeal, War managed to smash a few records at the box-office. However, the stupendous box-office run of War fell a little short of Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 4, Shahid Kapoor’s Kabir Singh and Vicky Kaushal’s Uri: The Surgical Strike which turned out to be the top 3 highest grossers of the year.

Reacting to a report that compared the earnings of the film in the Mumbai circuit, Hrithik Roshan posted a rather adorable message on his social media handle. Hrithik wrote, “How good would I be if I didn’t have friends who were better than me.” It is not only really humbling but also shows what a great sport he is.

According to the report, Shahid Kapoor’s Kabir Singh, despite all the controversies, managed to grab the top spot in the Mumbai circuit and earned about Rs. 87.21 crores closely followed by Vicky Kaushal’s Uri which raked in Rs.84.11 crores. While Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 4 grabbed the third spot with Rs. 79.25 crores, Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff’s War came in third at Rs.77.42 crores.
