Hrithik Roshan To Play Ram And Deepika Padukone To Play Sita In Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana?

Hrithik Roshan’s Super 30 has been doing an okay business and if reports are to go by, he has already signed another mega-budget titled Ramayana. According to reports, Hrithik Roshan will be playing the role of Rama in the series.

Ever since there were reports of actor Aamir Khan planning to do a film adaptation of the Mahabharata, there are people who are just trying to plunge headlong into the mythology space! This just goes a long way to showcase the herd-mentality of Bollywood.

According to the same reports, the film will be produced by three producers namely - Allu Aravind, Namit Malhotra and Madhu Mantena and will be directed by Nitesh Tiwari and Ravi Udyawar. Reports suggest Hrithik Roshan has already given a positive nod for the film which will be released in Tamil and Telugu, apart from Hindi.

What’s more - the movie is reportedly going to be a live-action trilogy and will be shot in 3D.

Well, after Super 30, Hrithik Roshan and the entire industry will surely have their hopes pinned high on this one. Only time will tell whether Hrithik manages to do a good job in the film or no!

Some other media reports claim that Deepika Padukone has said yes for playing the role of Sita in the film, well, if the actress confirms the news, this will be the first Hrithik-Deepika collaboration! On the work front, Hrithik Roshan will be seen in War, Krish 4 besides this film.
